Membership Benefits
At the Council, our mission and passion to "strengthen the movement" means that we are devoted to helping conservationists be more effective, and we do this in ways that no other organization can. Council members are entitled to the following exclusive benefits:
Annual Conservation Community Awards Banquet: Our most visible event of the year brings together conservationists from the nonprofit world with those in the public and private sectors to celebrate the successes of the previous year. Council members receive a special discount rate on tickets to the event and are eligible to compete for our prestigious Awards of Achievement. Conservation Round Tables and Issue Briefings: The Council sponsors exclusive briefings and Conservation Round Table (CRT) events where our members have the opportunity to meet with colleagues in the public and private sectors, contributing to a multi-faceted dialogue on pressing topics. Issue briefings are open only to members, and while CRT's are open to the public, members receive special discounts. Position Announcements: Published with the Conservation Voice newsletter as well as on-line, our Position Announcements help member organizations circulate their openings to a focused group of people. Member organizations may post Position Announcements free of charge. Conservation Calendar: Our comprehensive calendar of conservation events across the country is published with the Conservation Voice as well as on-line. Members often use our calendar to stay abreast of conferences and workshops of interest, and to help in planning and publicizing their own events.
